Middle Fork River Middle Loop
Class 2+
Start: Camp Morningwood
End: Middle Fork River Campground
3.25 Miles - 2 - 3 hours +/-
This is a great introduction to whitewater section. This section can be the perfect training ground with lots of features to practice on and get you ready for the bigger water on the Lower Loop.
Any of the Middle Fork LOOPS can be COMBINED to give you MORE WATER TIME

Middle Fork River Lower Loop
Class 2/3+
Start: Middle Fork River Campground
End: Audra State Park
2.2 Miles - 1 - 2 hours +/-
A nice little step up from the middle loop. This one starts out with a couple bigger rapids. Including "Triple Drop" which is a solid Class 3 rapid on water days and a wonderful natural jaccuzzi in the dead of summer. Tons of learning features to practice on this stretch also.
Paddle Board, Helmet, PFD, & Paddle provided.
Padding not provided but highly suggested.

Middle Fork River DOwNUnDeR Loop
Class 4+
Start: Audra State Park
End: Buckhannon River
6.75 Miles - 4 -5 hours +/-
This is as Wild & Wonderful as if gets! You'll touch 3 different rivers on this one run! Starting at Audra State Park you'll carefully navigate your way down the remaining stretch of the Middle Fork leading to the Tygart Valley river. After a few spectacular rapids you'll attain up the Buckhannon River to your take-out. We don't handle bookings on this section. We love to run it when the water level is right so contact us if you're planning to paddle this section. We'd love to join you!
Essential Eligibility Criteria (EEC):

WV SUP courses and trips are open to all individuals who acknowledge the ability to perform the following essential eligibility criteria.

Breathe independently (i.e., not require medical devices to sustain breathing)

Independently maintain sealed airway passages while under water

Independently hold head upright without neck / head support

Manage personal care independently or with assistance of a companion

Manage personal mobility independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance

Follow instructions and effectively communicate independently or with assistance of a companion

Independently turn from face-down to face-up and remain floating face up while wearing a properly fitted life jacket

Get in / out of a paddlecraft independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance
-
Independently get out and from under a capsized paddlecraft
-
Reenter the paddlecraft following deep water capsize independently or with a reasonable amount of assistance

Maintain a safe body position while attempting skills, activities and rescues listed in the appropriate Course Outline, and have the ability to recognize and identify to others when such efforts would be unsafe given your personal situation
